About this machine

The Consew 269RB is a single-needle cylinder-arm compound-feed walking-foot lockstitch machine for medium- to heavy-weight work. Consew specifies a 76 mm cylinder arm, 134-35 needle system and U pre-wound bobbin, making it a materially different parts lookup from the flat-bed 267RB even though both models share the 134-35 needle system.

Working around the cylinder arm

The 269RB cylinder arm lets tubular and curved work pass around the bed. Consew describes applications such as bags, boots, cushions and shaped upholstery, where the piece cannot lie flat on a conventional table.

The 267RB uses a different bobbin

Consew specifies the same 134-35 needle system for the 269RB and 267RB, but different bobbins. The 269RB takes a pre-wound U bobbin. The flat-bed 267RB takes a pre-wound M bobbin and a 26 mm metal bobbin. Sharing a needle system does not establish bobbin interchangeability.
