The Sailrite Fabricator is a full-size industrial straight-stitch machine with compound walking-foot feed, a large Style M bobbin and automatic lubrication. The current 110V package is rated up to 1,108 stitches per minute and accepts systems 135x16 and 135x17 needles from #10 to #24.
Compound feed is the important difference from Leatherwork
Sailrite's own comparison chart gives the Fabricator compound walking-foot feed, while Leatherwork is walking foot only. The Fabricator also moves from a Class 15 / Style A bobbin to a larger Style M bobbin.
The full-size machine has more room and heavier thread capacity
Sailrite lists 10.25 x 5 inches of throat space and Tex 30-138 thread for the Fabricator. Leatherwork is documented at 7 x 4.5 inches and Tex 30-92. These are exact-model differences with direct practical value.
