The important thing about SINGER 7256 HC is the suffix. SINGER's current machine-group and accessory pages list "7256" and "7256 HC" as separate entries inside the CB Cosmo/Confidence group. That is enough reason to keep the exact HC identity instead of silently merging it with the plain 7256. Current SINGER accessory documentation explicitly includes 7256 HC for the CB presser-foot ecosystem, including the existing blind-hem, walking, gathering, rolled-hem, overcasting, straight-stitch and darning/freehand relationships. SINGER also lists it for accessories such as the Sew Easy Foot and non-stick foot.
