About this machine
The Baby Lock Aventura (BLMAV) is a sewing and embroidery machine with a 6.25 x 10.25 inch maximum embroidery field, 300 built-in sewing stitches and 141 built-in embroidery designs. It uses a Quick-Set top-loading bobbin and includes editing, pivoting and automatic fabric-sensing features.
Smaller hoops within the embroidery field
The compatible EF74 4 x 4 and EF75 5 x 7 hoops provide smaller-hoop options within Aventura’s 6.25 x 10.25 inch maximum field. Those two hoop sizes do not describe the full embroidery capacity, and the maximum field alone does not establish compatibility with another hoop.
Original Aventura versus Aventura II
The original Aventura has 300 sewing stitches and 141 embroidery designs. Aventura II has 301 stitches and 181 designs, and adds automatic jump-stitch cutting. Check the generation when following instructions for these functions.
Model code and design files
BLMAV identifies the original Aventura, while BLMAV2 identifies Aventura II. The original accepts PES, PEC, DST and PHC embroidery data through USB connectivity. Use BLMAV when looking for file-transfer instructions for this generation.
