Embroidery-only operation
Flare is an embroidery machine. Vesta has a similar embroidery specification but also provides sewing functions. Instructions or accessories for ordinary sewing on Vesta should not be assumed to apply to Flare.
Hoop fit within the maximum field
The documented EF74 4 x 4 and EF75 5 x 7 hoops are smaller than Flare’s maximum embroidery field. The field describes embroidery capacity, not a blanket fit rule for every hoop within those dimensions.
Transferring embroidery designs
Flare supports Baby Lock’s Design Database Transfer over Wi-Fi as well as USB-based embroidery data. Use Flare-specific transfer instructions when setting up a secondhand machine, since older embroidery models may use a different transfer method.
